Local Sports Club Links

Please find below some information related to local sports clubs that can provide training and competitive sporting opportunities for primary aged children.  From February 2016, there will be a ‘Local Sports Clubs Links’ freestanding board displayed in school containing flyers and posters from a variety of local sports clubs, both for boys and girls.

 

Athletics

Gymnastics

 

 

Since the amalgamation to Norwich Gymnastics Club where gymnastics is enjoyed in our purpose built and full-time centre, hundreds of children now attend; From pre-school to beginners, advanced and recreational up to the highest level in both Men’s Artistic, Women’s Artistic and Acrobatic Gymnastics. The facility regularly offers county competitions, squad training and holiday training weeks

Football

CR Soccer Stars host a regular Saturday morning sessions using the school facilities. They are open to children from Year 1 to Year 6, boys or girls. Also, they run 5 day Summer Football schools that your children can attend while you are at work.

Archery

City of Norwich Archers

 

City of Norwich Archers regularly host free after school clubs for our children. You can alos get involved with them outside of school, and they frequently hold beginner courses.

Karate

 

Shotokan Karate is an ideal sport for all ages. It builds self-confidence, balance, fitness, co-ordination and discipline, while learning the art of defending yourself. Children can begin to train in our junior karate classes from 6 years of age. The TKF prides itself on providing friendly, professional training with high quality instuctors who all hold many years of experience and are advanced DBS checked. We provide classes six days a week across the Norfolk and Suffolk area where children may train in family classes (alongside people of all ages including other family members) or train in tailored junior classes.

Hockey

Norwich Dragons Youth section under 8s, under 10s, under 12s train weekly during term time and enter all local tournaments throughout the year.  All ages and all standards are very welcome.
